    Chief Executive Officer

    Kevin has over 30 years' experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). His journey has taken him from classroom teaching to headship, and now to CEO. He’s driven large-scale change, formed and grown trusts and sits on the executive team of the APSEND National Network for MAT CEOs, helping to shape SEND education nationally.     Esther Bushell

    Chief Operating Officer

    Esther is a qualified teacher and has over 25 years’ experience in the public sector, including school improvement, community services, and public health. She joined Creating Tomorrow in 2018 to lead the strategic operations of the trust. Click on the photo to read more.

    Chief Finance Officer

    Anthea brings over 30 years' experience as a CIMA-qualified accountant. Her background spans the business, charity and education sectors, both in the UK and globally. For the past 10 years, she has focussed on academy trust finance, supporting schools at both operational and strategic levels.

    Jenny has 20 years’ experience in education in teaching, leadership and executive roles. She’s led schools and trusts across mainstream, specialist and global settings and has shaped national teacher and leadership development and training, delivering programmes and research projects to help improve education.     Ollie Butcher

    Operations Business Partner

    Ollie is expert in project, operations and estates management and was previously an Operations Manager within one of our schools. During his career, Ollie has worked in logistics and e-commerce running projects and leading teams, has been an asbestos surveyor, and has even run his own family business in North Yorkshire. This broad background has given him a strong understanding of operational efficiency, compliance and building fabric. Ollie has been with Creating Tomorrow since 2020, and works closely with central team colleagues and the schools' operations and site teams to deliver projects and ensure compliance.

    Ellie Edwards

    Governance Professional

    Working across a range of support roles in education for nearly 20 years, including student services, HR and exams, Ellie moved into governance after completing her clerking qualifications. She's been with Creating Tomorrow since its formation, supporting trust leaders, members, trustees, and governors in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.

    Ali Jones

    IT Business Partner

    Ali has over 30 years' experience in the IT industry ranging from programming, managing helpdesks and IT teams to Network Management and IT/GDPR strategies. After a successful career in the military, Ali worked in local government, then ran a successful consultancy IT business for 15 years before joining Creating Tomorrow. Ali leads the IT and GDPR teams and acts as the liaison between the department and all sites, ensuring that technology initiatives align with organisational goals and deliver value.

    Human Resource Business Partner

    Bringing over 20 years’ experience in HR leadership across schools and education services, Kay supports all areas of people management, including employee relations, TUPE, recruitment, and policy development. With a strong background in guiding organisations through change and complex casework, she works closely with leaders and staff to promote positive, fair, and supportive workplace cultures.

    Community & Employer Engagement Business Partner

    Stacey is a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience across mainstream, PRU, DSP, and SEND settings. A passionate advocate for neurodiversity, she works closely with employers and communities to create inclusive pathways and brighter futures. Recognised by the CDI twice as Careers Leader of the Year, and for the development of career programmes, she supports careers leaders across all sites to bridge the gap between education and the world of work.

    Communications & Marketing Business Partner

    Abigail is a Chartered Marketer with over 25 years' experience across a range of sectors including hospitality, finance, waste management and education. She supports schools with everything from communication and reputation management to websites and surveys. She is also Co-Chair of Governors for a federation of maintained nursery schools.
